Dive into the world of kayaking, canoeing, and stand up paddleboarding. We’ve got lots on deck at our paddling festival – and everyone’s welcome. You can go for a test paddle, learn skills at a clinic, browse exhibitor’s booths, and hunt for deals at the Paddle Swap.

MEC Paddlefest Victoria is located at Willows Beach in Oak Bay, BC. (240 Dalhousie St, Oak Bay, BC V8R 2J1)
We’ll have a secure bike valet on site; please bring a lock if you have it. If you take transit, the 2 bus will drop you off in conveniently in front of our event. If you’re driving, street parking is available near the event.

SUP RACES: Stand Up Paddleboard Races brought to you by Epic Surf Co.
Like to SUP? Then enter our first ever 'first come first served' SUP races at Paddlefest!
Two races will be held (11:30am and 1:30pm) by Epic Surf Co. This is a way to get on the water and have fun with some friendly competition on the boards.
Sign up at the MEC Registration Tent the day of the event to secure your race spot as there are a limited amount of boards available. Respectfully, when you bring your own board, you're guaranteed a spot!

$10 per clinic; sign up on the individual pages to reserve your spot! Please note that the 2:00pm SUP course and the Greenland Rolling for Youth at 12pm are only for kids 17 years of age and under. All of the other courses require you to be at least 17 years old to attend.

MEC Paddle Swap
Hunting for a deal? Need to make some space in your gear closet? Buy or sell used kayaks, canoes, stand up paddleboards and paddling gear at the MEC Paddle Swap.
If you have items to sell, stop by MEC Victoria and fill out a booth application, or email email@example.com for more information. MEC provides the space and 1 table per booth, you bring all the materials and people you need for swap. Booth fees are $10 for individuals or non-profits, and $40 for retail/wholesale shops. Deadline to sign up for a booth is July 3, 2013.
