The only marathon on Mount Royal, and lots of other distances for anyone who’s got big (but not quite marathon-big) goals in mind. Soak in pretty views and fall scenery on loops through the park. Easy to access by transit and co-organized with Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society (CPAWS Quebec)

Well-marked routes and fun finish line vibes with music, stretch zones and product demos.

 

We're taking precautionary steps due to COVID-19, but as of this moment, our events are still going forward. Should there be any related event updates, we will post about them right here. Should the event be cancelled due to participant risk, we will email all registrants and will post the update here as well.

**All 42 km runners must complete the race under the 6 hour cut-off time. If a runner has not completed 2 out of 3 of the 14 km loops before 1:15 pm, they won't be allowed to continue the race

If you move down in distance you will not be refunded the price difference.

Paid parking is available near reception, but spots are limited. Get parking rates and info.

How to Get There

We recommend using public transit:

From the Côte-des-Neiges station

  • Take Bus 165 Côte-des-Neiges South, to Côte-des-Neiges/Remembrance
  • Walk on Côte-des-Neiges towards the South. Turn left on Remembrance
  • Walk to 2000, Ch. Remembrance (Montreal).

From the Guy-Concordia station

  • Take Bus 165 Côte-des-Neiges North, to Côte-des-Neiges/ Remembrance
  • Walk on Côte-des-Neiges towards the West. Turn right on Remembrance
  • Walk to 2000, Ch. Remembrance (Montreal).

To arrive by car, refer to these directions to the Lac-aux-Castors Pavilion.

Pre-Race Warm-Ups

Elite athletes from the United for Sport foundation will host a group warm up to help you get prepared for the race. Take advantage of their pro-level advice to improve your race efficiency. All experience levels are welcome.

8:30am 42K Warm-up (20-25mins)

9:15am 5K/10K/20K Warm-up (20-25mins)

11:15am 1.5K Warm-up games (20-25mins)

Sustainability

In an effort to reduce our environmental impact, the 20K and 42K will be cup-free!

Help us keep our races green by bringing your own water bottle, wearing a hydration vest, or bringing your reusable cup

Race Results

Watch results live at the finish line. A Sportstats kiosk near the finish line will also show details of the race in real time. Official results will be published at https://www.sportstats.ca/.

Medals will be awarded to the top three male and female athletes for each distance (no prizes for age categories).


Canadian Mountain Running Qualifying Series

This race is part of the 2020 Canadian Regional Mountain Running Qualifying Series.                 

Finishing in the top 5 in your age group in two races in the qualifying series, including this race, will allow you to be eligible to enter for the 2021 Canadian Mountain Running Championships.
