How to go winter camping: Brrrring it on!

Winter is the longest season here in Canada so make the most of it by heading outdoors!  Modern equipment makes winter camping more accessible and comfortable.  Winter poses unique challenges so being properly prepared is essential.   Learn how to plan and execute a winter adventure to maximize safety and enjoyment.  In this clinic you will learn tips on:

  • What to wear for cold-weather camping
  • How to stay warm when you’re sleeping
  • Tips on cooking outside in winter
  • Staying safe in the snow and cold
  • Advice for trip planning
  • Ways to get to winter campsites

IMPORTANT NOTES 

We won’t be giving training on avalanche safety in this clinic, but we can point you to avalanche training clinics to take.


WHO IS TEACHING THE CLINIC?
