BIKE MAINTENANCE 201
Clinics are designed for the more advanced cyclist who wants to learn how to work on their own bike.
Our sessions cover: brake adjustments; derailleur adjustment and chain; cassette and cable replacement (Drivetrain Adjustment & Replacement)
All clinics are led by expert bike mechanics or trained cycling staff, giving you a small class size to really get involved and learn a new skill.
Sessions are on Wednesdays, 6:00pm to 7:00pm. We rotate through each of the 201 topics every other week with each date and topic posted separately:
1: Brake Adjustment
2: Derailleur Adjustment
3: Drive Train Adjustment & Replacement
You do not need to bring your own bike to the courses, our mechanic will teach these clinics by working on an MEC bike.
These clinics are designed for someone already familiar with doing some work on their own bike or has taken Bike Maintenance 101 before jumping into these intermediate clinics.
