Come run with us!

Drop-in for a free, casual trail run at beautiful Evergreen Brick Works and the nearby paths and trails, led by one of our run staffers. Perfect for those with some running experience, we'll run an average distance of 5km-8km, with a focus on fun over speed. It's a no-drop run, so no runner gets left behind.

Please register at the link below.

Meeting Spot

Join the group between the main building (containing the Café and Garden Market) and the open market building know as The Pavillions. We meet by the "Cayuga" sculpture bench in the open area known as The Tiffany Commons. A map of the Brick Works can be found here

Running Level

• Some running experience 5K to 8K or accustomed to running 30 to 45 minutes: the focus is not on speed

• Looking to expand knowledge and improve skills

• No prior trail running experience required

• Appropriate footwear (regular running shoes or trail shoes)

• A bottle of water

• A snack

• Proper clothing for weather conditions

• Health Card / Photo ID

Please note there is no baggage storage. There are public washrooms in both the main buildings and in the building housing Outward Bound and reBOOT Canada. Drinking fountains are on-site (inside the main building); outdoor water fountains do not operate in winter. Remember to courteously share the paths in and around the Brick Works

The Evergreen Brick Works is accessible by bicycle, transit, foot, and car. There is a free shuttle bus to the Evergreen Brick Works outside Broadview Station at Broadview Ave and Erindale every 30 mins on Saturdays.  For more information on the Evergreen Brick Works shuttle visit the website here:

For cycling, consult a City of Toronto cycling map for optimal routes including the Don Valley paths, The Belt Line. You can take Bike Share to Chorley Park; the Brick Works is a short walk down through the recently renovated and accessible park.
