We know that life gets busy, so now our Bike Maintenance 101 Clinics have the best of both 101 clinics combined into one night!
CLASS #1 - KNOW YOUR BIKE
Our mechanics will take you over the basics of how to properly maintain your bike between tune-ups. Topics include: chain cleaning, lubricating moving parts, and taking you inside the lingo of the bike world. By the end of this class you will have a good understanding of how all the parts on your bike work together and what you can do to keep your ride rolling smoothly
CLASS #2 - FIX A FLAT
A basic demonstration of how to change a flat, geared towards the very beginner. How to know what size tube to use, what pressure to inflate your tires to, how to use a CO2 cartridge, and the tools required will also be touched upon. Followed by a 20 min practice time so everyone gets some hands on experience.
* What is NOT covered in this course is how to adjust brakes or gears, true wheels etc because they are too advanced for the time frame and some of these topics are covered in Bike Maintenance 201 Clinics
To Register for the class you can sign up below or in person in the store. You cannot register over the phone or by email. The preferred way of registration is online at the "Register" button below.
We will be working out of our bike shop, so we ask that all participants wear closed toe shoes for the duration of the clinic. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
