MEC Greater Vancouver: Road Race THREE is the third event in the 2019 MEC Greater Vancouver Road Race Series offering. Join us on April 28th for a race that has a distance for everyone. For only $20 you can choose between a 5K or 10K race or for $25 a 21.1K race or for $35 a 42.2K race. This route follows the Trans Canada Trail and finishes in Fort Langley, with the Fort Langley portion of the event running on the Fort to Fort trail. The 21.1K race features a point to point course starting in Pitt Meadows, running over the Golden Ears Bridge and finishing in Fort Langley. This course features a combination of road and trail on the Trans Canada Trail. Runners will experience a fun and welcoming race atmosphere complete with professional chip timing and sweet finish-line extras.
UPDATE: We have reached our permit maximum for this race course and this event is now SOLD OUT. Join us at our next Road Race Series event on June 9th at Garry Point Park!

Register online no later than Wednesday April 24 2019 or in-stores no later than 4:00pm PST on Saturday April 27 2019. Note: Race day registration for the 5K and 10K is cash only, and only available from 8:30–9:30am on April 28 at the event site registration tent. We regret that we cannot accomodate day-of registration for the 21.1K or 42.2K distances.

7:00am: 42.2K start in Fort Langley
8:30am-9:30am: Package pick-up in Fort Langley for 5K and 10K distance runners
9:30am: 21.1Kstart in Pitt Meadows (Bus transportation is provided from the finish to Pitt Meadows at no additional charge. Busses will leave Fort Langley at the corner of Billy Brown Rd and Glover Rd between 8:30am - 8:40am)
9:45am: 10K start in Fort Langley
10:00am: 5K start in Fort Langley
1:00pm: Course closes
The start/finish for the 5K, 10K, and 42.2K are in Fort Langley on the Fort to Fort Trail in front of the Fort Langley Canoe Club (the corner of Glover Rd. and Billy Brown Rd.). The 21.1K busses will depart from the event site, and will drop runners off in Pitt Meadows (176th and the Pitt Meadows dike).
The start for the Half is in Pitt Meadows where 176th meets the Pitt Meadows dike. We will provide bus transportation to the start of the 21.1K. Busses will leave Fort Langley between 8:30am - 8:45am. There is NO parking in Pitt Meadows at the start of the 21.1K.
Coming from Vancouver, take 200th St. exit and coming from Abbotsford, take 232nd exit. Follow signs to Fort Langley.

The 42.2K, 10K and 5K are an out and back starting and finishing in Fort Langley. The 21.1K starts in Pitt Meadows and finishes in Fort Langley. We will provide bus transportation to the start of the 21.1K. Busses will leave Fort Langley between 8:30am - 8:45am. There is NO parking in Pitt Meadows at the start of the 21.1K.

Results will be posted on the Trio Sports Events within two business days after the event. Medals will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in each distance category (no age category awards).
