Summer Runnin' made me so fast!

Join MEC Edmonton for a 10k Running Clinic.  This session will place a special focus on getting you ready to run through the warm summer months.  Our expert runners will share all the tips of the trade along with how to dress, stretch and more.

This training program is designed to mold participants who are comfortable running 5km into 10km running machines.  Reveal your inner distance beast in this 10 week course.

Participants often begin at different levels of fitness and are encouraged to complete each training session to the best of their ability. The Run to 10km program is based on a run/walk progression, allowing you to run for 10+km at the end of the clinic. It is progressive and fun, and the amount of running varies, with the introduction of strength/hill training and speed training, to help you achieve your goals.
Experience running at least 5km is required and recommended. Weekly sessions will consist of a 15 - 30 min class covering training, fitness and technique, followed by a 30 - 60min group run session.
