Summer Runnin' had me a blast!

Join MEC Edmonton for a 5k Running Clinic.  This session will place a special focus on getting you ready to run through the summer, staying cool and hydrated.  Our expert runners will share all the tips of the trade along with how to dress, stretch and more.

This beginner-friendly gradual training program that is designed to prepare participants to run 5km over the course of 10 weeks. We welcome all levels of fitness and encourage participants to complete each training session to the best of their ability. 

No past running experience is required. Weekly sessions will consist of a 15 - 30 min class covering training, fitness and technique, followed by a 30 - 40min group run session. A training plan will be provided to you at the first session outlining the entire clinic.
