This trail takes off through Whitemud Creek Ravine going from creek bottom to hill top, cresting your efforts with magnificent views. Our trail series is super inclusive and we try to provide a little something for every racer- get out for a fun run with friends, bring a first-timer, or challenge yourself and your PB!
CTMR PRAIRIES QUALIFIER RACE:
Racers can qualify for the Canadian Mountain Running Championships by finishing in the top three in their age group in any of the 6k, 11k or 15k races

Online registration is now closed.
You can register in store (at either MEC in South Common or MEC in the Brewery District) until Saturday 5pm.
You can register last minute on Sunday if you arrive by 8am.
To pick up your race package (bib, pins, route map, and a high-five):
- Come into the MEC in Edmonton South Common on Friday, May 18th from 5pm – 9pm.
Racers can show their bib at the tills to get 10% off any purchases! *
- Pick up your race package on race day by showing up early at 7:30 am on Sunday, May 20th at Whitemud Park
*(bib discount applies to all regular priced, in-store merchandise, including bikes & boats, only on day of bib package pick-up. Blundstone footwear is exempt)
If you would like to run a different distance than what you registered for, your registration record must be updated and you need to let us know!

The event site is from Whitemud Picnic Ste (13204 Fox Drive), located on the South Bank of the North Saskatchewan River, just off Fox Drive. (see map below for start location)
There is a free public parking lot by the Whitemud Picnic Site (next to the entrance of Whitemud Equine Centre) with overflow parking at Fort Edmonton Park. There is a bus stop at the park’s edge as well – please consult ETS schedules for arrival and departure times.
Help us keep our races green by bringing your own water bottle. (Compostable cups and on-site recycling and composting will also be provided.)
We'll be giving out some fantastic medals to the top three female & male finishers in each distance category!
Live race results will be listed online shortly after crossing the finish line. Official standings will be posted by Athletics Alberta
