Come Connect. Come Ride. Come Learn. Come Celebrate Langley’s first annual Bike Festival!
This event is designed to celebrate the joys of bikes and everything bike related. Come join the fun and connect with the local cycling community. You can try out gear, test ride bikes, have a mechanic look at your bike, attend cycle clinics, yoga and so much more!

Take advantage of free learning with our friendly bike experts.
Bike maintenance 101
Description: Join one of our qualified Bicycle Mechanics to learn the basics of bike maintenance. In this session you will learn about bike parts and their functions, how to diagnose problems and perform basic maintenance, how to fix a flat tire, and when to bring your bike in for more major repairs.
Bike maintenance 201
Description: This clinic is designed for the more advanced cyclist who wants to learn how to work on their own bike. Our sessions cover brake adjustments (no disc brakes), derailleur adjustment and chain, cassette and cable replacement.
Bike Maintenance 301 *NEW* Performance Road Cycling
Description: Newest of our bike maintenance courses; directed toward performance road riders. This is an advanced class.
Intro to Commuting
Description: Want to save some gas money? Biking to and from work is becoming very popular in the lower mainland. Learn how to dress and pack appropriately in order to enjoy your ride.
Description: Learn how to eat properly so your body is performing at its optimal level. For all skill levels, and covers nutrition for day trips or multi-day. Find out what will help you and what to avoid.
Basic Bike Safety
Description: Join our safety officers in an attempt to make you and our roads safer. This clinic will go through everything you need to know to be safe on the road. This event is suitable for all ages and ability levels.
Yoga for Cyclists
Get your Zen on with our 45 minute yoga session directed toward bike enthusiasts.
Stretching for Cyclists
Join Tammy from Peninsula Multi-sport for a basic stretching clinic. Learn about proper stretching and how to keep your body in tip-top shape!
Road Ride (8-11am)
Description: This is a full on road ride. Bring your road bike and be prepared for 3-4 hours on the road. Our leader will take you all around town and more! Road bike mandatory.
Casual Group Ride (Departing at 10, 12 & 2)
Description: Join us for a casual pedal through the heart of Langley. This ride will be on both road and gravel trails. Any type of bike is acceptable for these rides.
All Day Activities
Looking for something to do with the kids? Bikefest is your answer! Face painting, arts and crafts, bike safety and more. This station will be running all day (10-4).
Charity Bike Drop off
Spring cleaning? Get rid of that unused bike collecting dust in the garage and help out a good cause.
Quick Fix Station
Is your bike not feeling right; have one of our registered mechanics have a look at it. We will offer 5 minute fixes at no charge to anyone attending Bikefest. Even if our mechanic cannot fix it in 5 minutes you can at least walk away with a free diagnosis.
Have your bike fit properly by a professional. Steve Wilson from Trail Dynamics will be offering bike set-up and fit classes all day.
