NOTE: Participants WILL NOT be allowed into transition after 8:30am.

Sprint Triathlon Route:

The swim is a pool swim. As such, you will be required to swim laps of a 25-meter pool. There will be lap counters there to help you!

You will be required to touch the wall on each end to complete your length; Time penalties will be awarded to those who fail to do so.

All athletes must check in 15 min before their wave.  Check in is at pool entry, and will be based on your wave.  Once you have checked in, you will enter an athlete-only zone.

BODY MARKING: All athletes must have their body markings before entering the pool area.  Body Marking is available at the transition check in.

The bike route will head west along highway 546 for 10km until reaching the 10km turn-around point and aid station.

The aid station will have water, snacks, and first aid available. Mechanics will also be roaming the route in a pick-up truck ready to help any riders with mechanical issues.

Roads will not be closed to all traffic, however the right of way will be provided to racers at all intersections.

Note: Drafting is not allowed, and a time penalty will be awarded to athletes found drafting

The run route is an out and back 5km course along the Friendship Trail, east of the transition area.

Note: The use of headphones or bluetooth communicators is not allowed.

Transition will open at 7:00am on race-day morning and will be open until 8:30am.

Note: No athletes will be allowed into transition after 8:30am

Transition is an athlete-only zone.  To access the transition area, athletes must have their athlete wristband, as provided in your race kit.  Athletes must keep their wristband on throughout the entire event and it will be necessary for for entry and re-entry at all times.

MOUNTING / DISMOUNTING LINE: As athletes leave transition to begin their BIKE leg, they will pass through a Mounting Zone.  Athletes are not permitted to mount their bicycle until they have cleared the mounting line.  Similarly, athletes must dismount their bicycle before the mounting line when they return to transition.

Note: The Mounting Zone is a no-passing area, and athletes who are found passing other athletes will be given a time penalty.

BODY MARKING: All athletes must have their body markings before entering the pool area. Body Marking is available at the transition check in.

A transition diagram will be provided prior to the event.
