Introduction to SUP Yoga with Ashley Clinic #1
This clinic will start with some yoga poses on land and a short Stand Up Paddle lesson. Your Yoga Instructor will get you out on the water safely and then lead you through a gentle yoga practice to release tension, free the joints, cleanse the body and quiet the mind. The class culminates to blissful relaxation on your board, leaving you feeling happy and free! SUP yoga is a great way to build better balance, awareness, focus, coordination, strength and connection to nature and water. This class is open to all levels. No SUP or yoga experience is required. Please wear comfortable, breathable, quick-dry yoga or athletic clothing in layers (cotton is NOT recommended). We don't anticipate that you will fall in, but we suggest bringing a towel and a change of clothing just in case. It is also mandatory that you are comfortable in the water and know how to swim. Wear sunscreen and bring a bottle of water. We don’t recommend wearing expensive sunglasses, watches or bringing a camera or cell phone (we’ll take photos for you) or anything else you wouldn’t want to ‘donate’ to the bottom of the lake. Maximum of 6 participants.
