CAMP KITCHEN

PLEASE REGISTER ONLINE TO SECURE YOUR SPOT!

Join our camping specialist from 6pm-7pm for a FREE one-hour clinic designed to introduce you to the ins and outs of cooking in the frontcountry or backcountry.

By the end of this session, participants will be familiar with the basic considerations involved with cooking and drinking while camping or backpacking, and have knowledge of:

  • Different stove types
  • Different fuel types
  • Cooking over open fire (pros and cons)
  • Types of food (dehydrated, fresh, freeze dried)
  • How to store food
  • Food safety
  • Water purification
  • Cooking utensils, pot sets, coffee devices

We will provide all the materials you need for this clinic. Come with your questions and a sense of adventure!
