INTRODUCTION TO BACKPACKING

PLEASE REGISTER ONLINE TO SECURE YOUR SPOT!

Join one of our camping specialists from 6pm - 7pm for a FREE one-hour clinic designed to introduce you to the equipment required for a safe and comfortable trip and tips for backcountry travel.

By the end of this session, participants will be familiar with the essential equipment required for an overnight backcountry adventure, including:

  • The 10 essentials for backcountry travel
  • Appropriate footwear
  • Clothing and layering systems
  • Cooking systems
  • Sleeping systems
  • Understanding the importance of a properly fitted backpack and learn how to pack your own

We will provide all the materials you need for this clinic. Come with your questions and a sense of adventure!
