Start your week off right and join us every Monday for free group runs, form work & more. We are a beginner friendly group but we also stride to challenge our regular more experienced runners.
6:00-6:30 - Clinic -or- Warm Up Drills & Form Work

Meet us by the front doors for our group warm up. This is the perfect place to start as a new runner, or if you're looking to take your running to the next level. Expand both your knowledge of running form and your range of motion as we go through a series of light drills. Our drills are designed to challenge co-ordination and balance while promoting your body to practice "proper" running mechanics. Come practice and ask questions with our seasoned run leader Cole before the group run at 6:45.
6:45 - Easy Run / Fartlek
After the warm up head out on a run with our group. For those interested in an added challenge Cole will provide a Fartlek style workout. Runs are open to all from debutantes to seasoned runners. We run at varied paces and distances based upon the runners who show up that night. Our MEC leaders will always try to run with the slowest runner and yes walk breaks do happen.
7:30 - Core Strength!
Haven't had enough? Stay after the run and join Cole for body weight strength exercises. There will be planks, people will grunt and we will all leave smiling.

Run 11.1 kilometres from MEC Burlington to Burlington Canal Lift Bridge
