MEC VALLEY CENTURY RIDE

Enjoy this beautiful scenic 50KM or 100KM route that takes you through the Valley complete with mountain views and quiet farmland. Whether you're a cycling enthusiast or training for a specific long distance event, this ride is perfect as it offers some challenging climbs as well as straight stretches to get the cadence up.


REGISTRATION

Online registration closes at midnight on Friday, June 23rd.

Late registration available at MEC Langley on Saturday, June 24th from 9am - 4pm.

The event site is located at Birchwood Dairy, 1154 Fadden Road in Abbotsford, it is easy access from Highway 1 just south of  Whatcom Rd. exit.

Sustainability

Help us keep our races green by bringing your own water bottle. (Compostable cups and on-site recycling and composting will also be provided.)


RACE ROUTE

100km route

50km route

 The roads are open to traffic and riders must follow the rules of the road. Most of the route is on quiet country roads, but there are a few spots where you will have to use extra caution as there may be traffic to contend with or railway crossings. The route will be well marked and there will be marshals at the key corners. In addition there will be several aid stations and roving mechanical support available but all riders are expected to be self sufficient and carry their own fuel and repair kits.

100km - 4 aid/water stations

50km - 1 aid/water station

 


AFTER THE RACE

After the ride, relax and enjoy the refreshments. We have a special treat of pie and ice cream to reward you for your achievement!
