Race Three, The 15-55 is sure to be a doozy! Join us as we host MEC's very first 55K ultra marathon! A great course that will literally take you from sea to sky with around 2000m elevation gain. Looking for something a little less mountainous? Sign up for our 15K route instead for a course that will take you from ocean to dam (Cleveland Dam). Plus try out some Hoka running shoes! Hoka will be providing free demos!
Delicious and nutritious bananas, JJ Bean coffee and massages will be available at the finish line for all participants. The top 3 finishers will be awarded a MEC medal.

MEC North Vancouver races have chip timing! We have partnered with Trio Sport Events (http://www.trioevents.ca/) to chip time our race. In the event that you do not return your chip, you will be charged a $40 fee. Any questions about the chip or timing process please email firstname.lastname@example.org.

Race BIB pick up at MEC North Vancouver on Friday, June 10th, between 2pm-7pm.
Race day, June 11th, between 6:15am-8:30am
All particpants will receive a 10% off MEC North Vancouver coupon card that will be valid on Friday, June 10th, between 2-9pm.
Elevation Gain: ~2000m (please disregard elevation listing on map- not correct. There is just under 2000m elevation gain total)
Please note: 1. No Quarter climbing route from Dreamweaver to Exectioner, 2. Upper Suspension Bridge trail to Lillooet Road, 3. Technical Richard Juryn Trail, 4. berm along Lillooet Road and 5. Diamond Trail not on GPX file correctly. Locations are approximate for those trails.
Aid Stations will be stocked with water and electrolyte, fruit, candy, pretzels, potatoes. If you prefer something special, we suggest that you carry it with you or leave it in your drop bag (accessible at 20km and 38km)

Aid Station #2 ~14KM Mountain Highway (top of Executioner trail)

Aid Station #6 ~48KM Cleveland Dam *Cut off @4:15pm*
2:30pm at Aid Station #5 (Lynn Headwaters Park returning from Lower Seymour Conservation Reserve).
Runners who do not make it to Aid Station 5 before 2:30pm will entered as DNF and be offered a ride back to Ambleside Park.
4:15pm at Aid Station #6 (Cleveland Dam returning from Grouse Mountain)
Runners who do not make it to Aid Station 6 before 4:15pm will entered as DNF and be offered a ride back to Ambleside Park.
If at any point and time a runner decides they cannot continue they MUST report to an aid station and notify staff.
