MEC Bikefest is a celebration of all things bikes. Kick off this cycling season with bike demos, clinics, group rides, kids activities, bike retailers, cycling advocacy groups, tune ups and much much more! Come join us at the store and make it the best bicycle bash in Toronto.
Highlight of this years Bikefest include a road ride with Michael and Mike Barry, a Women In Cycling section that includes ladies only repair clinics, rides and seminars.Prominent figures on the Toronto Cycling scene including Yvonne Bambrick and Michael and Mike Barrry will give stimulating talks and be available to sign their books.
Enjoy a coffee and a treat in our Vintage Cycling cafe and relive some of the glory days of bike racing while viewing footage of races from the 80's,90's . Vintage and not-so vintage cycling memorabilia will be only display including a signed Motorola jersey and mussette bag (signed by Seve Bauer).
Bikefest officially opens at 11:00 am but we have rides starting as early as 7:30. Too early! No problem. The store opens at 9:00 am so drop by for a coffee and a chance to test ride a bike or chat with our knowlegable staff about anything to do with cycling.

Learn key cycling skills from our talented and friendly instructors, or take a group ride through the city and discover the joy of cycling. Clinics and rides range from 1-2 hours and are free.
