Walk 150: Making Calgary feel like home, one step at a time! Feature language: Mandarin!
This is a free 1.5-2 hour, 6-7 km guided walk is led by Lori Beattie, author of Calgary's Best Walks, in partnership with the Calgary Library. It is as part of a series of walks called Walk 150, in celebration of Canada's 150th anniversary. Also in partnership with Centre for Newcomers, this walk will have multi-lingual guides. The feature language of this walk is Mandarin!
Enjoy a neighbourhood walk from the Alexander Calhoun Library, through the neighbourhood of River park, to views of the Elbow River and the downtown core from the Off leash, down the hill to Sandy Beach Park, and along the Elbow River pathway into the communities of Riverdale and Elbow park. Building and connecting communities through walking!
