Yoga - May21
Enjoy Sunday morning yoga classes using the Iyengar method. These classes will have you progressively perform poses (asana), sometimes with the support of props to give the body an experience of what a pose should feel like. Poses are held longer than most other types of yoga allowing a deeper penetration into the body.
It’s a great way to relieve the stresses of life and helps to promote physical and spiritual well-being.
All levels and abilities are welcome.
Please bring a mat, water, comfortable clothes. Just $5 per session.
Parking is free for the first two hours of any visit to the North York store. Yoga is in the community room, far corner from the front door.
The instructor, Ghislaine Atkins, is a former marathon runner, cyclist and hiker, and has honed her instructor skills at the Yoga Centre in Toronto. She says yoga is a constant source of learning. Contact her: firstname.lastname@example.org
